My humble beginnings...

I actually fell in LOVE with glass back in a Junior High Art Class. We only did one glass project, but I always remembered it. So when I was looking for a hobby, as a stay at home mom, I knew I had to find a way to do glass again. I found a starter kit online and everything started from there. I actually soldered my first project on a piece of cardboard on top of my washing machine. Let me tell you... it was not easy. Especially, with the curved top! Lol! It's not perfect, but I loved making it!

I've had many glass shops over the years. The laundry room, our home office, part of the basement rec room after we had a flood and didn't want to replace all the carpet. My husband and I also run a Decal business from our home, Stephen Edward Graphics (www.stephenedwardgraphic.etsy.com). When that business really took off we moved out to the country to expand. But that meant that I wouldn't have a glass studio until I had the time and money to build one at the new house. After about 5 years were able to convert the attached garage into the new home of Angela's Glass Studio!!! My new studio doesn't look anything like a garage or that first basement studio. We worked really hard at remodeling and even added a HUGE window that lets the sun come streaming in... WOW... what a dream come true!
